Gateway Church

Objective:

Gateway Church needed a way to keep members current with the myriad of activities offered throughout the week.  They also needed a way to speak to the community and invite new people see who they are.

By incorporating a "Calendar of Events" page, a live database of upcoming events, along with sign-up sheets for all activities, and a thorough overview of the church itself, Gateway has moved its message into the 21st century.

Special Features:

1. The "Calendar of Events" is a live database that can be updated by any of the department heads via their browser.  The members in charge of events can make any changes in the Church calendar, click the "submit" button, and the calendar is instantly changed.

2. The entire home page is dynamic, with Christian news feeds, daily scripture reading, articles of interest, and other content that changes daily - automatically!

3. There is a bookstore that ties to Amazon.com.  Any book you buy here is processed and shipped by Amazon at their best price - and a commission is paid to the Church for every book sold.

4. There is a salvation video, along with the pastors' weekly message - both are in "streaming" format which means they download into your computer while you are watching/listening.

5. A 24/7 prayer and praise page.
