Web Site:

Dillon-Wells, Inc.

Sample Screenshot of the Dillon Wells Websiteobjective:

Established in 1945, Dillon-Wells is an industry leading sales organization of fine home furnishings and decorative accessories.  They represent manufacturers from around the country and sell products from those manufacturers to retail stores throughout Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.

This is a "corporate presence" web site, to establish credibility in their industry, and to showcase glimpses of the manufacturers and importers they represent.  It gives the retail stores throughout the southwest an opportunity to see the types of products featured in the Dillon-Wells showroom.  It also allows Dillon-Wells to show prospective, new manufacturers, the types of products featured in their showroom.

Special Features:

  1. The most special feature of this site is that it is a total re-make...  We built a site for Dillon Wells in 2000 that lasted well for 6 years.  When it was time for a re-build, they had faith in our company to give them the look they could take into the 21st century.

  2. The top portion of all pages contain a "flash movie" that smoothly fades product shots from various manufacturers in the showroom with a mesmerizing effect.

  3. There is a "jump menu" on the home page, where you can select any one of the twenty plus manufacturers represented in the showroom, and are instantly taken to that page and see a sample of their product line.

  4. This site was built in "layers".  There are so many graphics on the pages that pictures need to know who goes where in the stacking order... in other words, if you shrink your browser, some graphics go higher than others.

  5. All pictures on the home page are "random" and change each time you visit the site!
